The 2022 Alsame Latino Youth Conference was a big success! Thank you to everyone that made it possible and a special thank you to Grand Valley State University for serving as host. We are putting together a conference report to summarize this year’s conference and will be posting it on this page soon. The 2023 Conference Host Application link will also be available soon.
Grand Valley State University will serve as host for the 2022 Alsame Latino Conference in May of 2022
Alsame and GVSU will partner to organize an in-person statewide Latino Youth Conference for students (circumstance permitting). This will be the second time GVSU hosts the conference.

Be a Workshop Presenter:
Have an idea for an interactive workshop? Consider submitting a proposal!
– We can help brainstorm your idea to go with the theme of “Mi Identidad – Find Yourself”
– Have a preferred audience size? We can accommodate you!
– DEADLINE to submit proposals: March 30th
**Presenters will be provided breakfast, lunch, a 2022 Alsame Conference t-shirt, and a gift card.
Be a Volunteer:
Help ensure the conference runs smoothly! Volunteers will be responsible for chaperoning visiting schools and assisting with workshops.
