The Alsame team is thrilled to announce that Oakland University will host the 2025 Alsame Latino Youth Conference on May 9, 2025. This marks the first time Oakland University will be the conference host, and we look forward to sharing more details soon.

In the meantime, let’s take a moment to reflect on the 2024 Latino Youth Conference, held at Davenport University. The following report highlights some of the key moments from last year’s conference. We would like to take a moment to a give a special thank you to Carlos Sanchez, Executive Director of Davenport University’s Casa Latina, for his efforts in hosting Alsame and Latino/a/e students from various high schools to their campus for the first time in Davenport’s history.
