Alsame Youth Conference Host Applications Now Being Accepted for 2027 & 2028

The Alsame Executive Board is now accepting applications for member institutions looking to host high school students from all across the state in 2027 or 2028.

Alsame’s annual Statewide Youth Conference brings together high school students from across Michigan for a day of inspiration, information, and community. Through workshops, keynote speakers, and interactive sessions, students gain tools to support academic success, explore post-secondary options, and begin planning their careers.

Each year, a different Michigan college or university hosts the conference and welcomes students from all corners of the state to their campus. Past hosts include Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, Oakland University, Saginaw Valley State University, among others. The conference creates space for high school students to connect with college students, faculty, staff, and professionals who reflect their experiences and aspirations.

Conference hosts have a unique opportunity to advance Alsame’s mission to promote post-secondary education for Latino students while showcasing their campus, support services, and resources to prospective students, many of whom may be visiting the campus for the first time. More details about host responsibilities can be found in the following Alsame Youth Conference Host Flyer: Alsame Host Flyer:
