The 2026 ALSAME Youth Conference is in full swing, and we’re thrilled to partner with this year’s host site—Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. On May 8, 2026, we’ll welcome high school students, community members, and advocates from across the state for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration.

This conference only happens because of dedicated volunteers who show up to make young people feel seen, supported, and celebrated—and we’d love for you to join us.

Volunteer roles include:

• Greeting and directing students and guests

• Supporting workshop presenters and sessions

• Assisting with the college & career fair

• Helping with transitions and logistics throughout the day

• Bringing the energy—cheering on youth from across Michigan
